I just realized that the elderly here in all the old town up north really take their food and meals seriously. Each munch and bites has its distinctive meaning captured by the savoring of the taste buds and the desperation of the saliva.
wait....
that didn't sound right. but yea, they rock!

# 146 *shivers*
My toes! Can't feel them!
I need bubble tea, but where to find them?
Ahh, my head! i can't focus clearly,
That winter chill seriously made me blurry.
Hey, no worries...
The waves of warmth from the charcoal,
Will rise in a tsunami even to australia's south pole.
Truly, that warmth will have to reach in your veins,
Even if i have to burn down the whole place again.

# 145 Martyrdom
Armored with recklessness,
Trained to seek and destroy darkness.
A soldier of Christ's kingdom,
Ready to be martyred for others' freedom.Brought forth a sword to the neck,
Targeted point-blank, a gun at the back.
Drifted on the sea over sun and moon,
Pain and sleepless nights after departing the silver spoon.
Besides bringing a Bible and a knife, nothing,
Maybe just some survivor skills from scouting.
Then, ventured into the woods ready to be speared,
Climbing up to the mountain where Christ appeared.
Striking a flag stating His name on the top,
Even if arrows of unbelievers where to be shot.Persecuted by faith, challenged by belief,
At times i wonder: "where's the beef?",
Still, i gripped on so tight,
Knowing that it's is right.
Just like holding on to the things I find so dear,
Even if the package comes with pain and fear.
Man of my own.
Trained to seek and destroy darkness.
A soldier of Christ's kingdom,
Ready to be martyred for others' freedom.Brought forth a sword to the neck,
Targeted point-blank, a gun at the back.

# 141 Upon Request from an audience of one
Lately, i really have nothing to blog about.
Even if i do, frankly, it's mostly junk.
I'm either lazy or worn out.
To be honest, blogging-wise, i've flunk.
6th August, Hiroshima was bombed!
6th August, Alex Ng was born!
This year, seems okay to be true.
Some strangers claimed to be "my friends" gave me no clue,
And almost threw me into a pool of flour, what a gift!
Not until Ivan and some others gave me a lift,
Went to fill my "bottomless pit" with Burger King's Whooper!
It was just satisfying only until we added another few MORE burgers.
3pm plus, if im not mistaken,
was when we watched G.I.Joe instead of The Taking of Felham.
Then 2 days later, crashed into Sean's mansion,
After munching down at Tony Roma's in the Gardens.
that was about 11pm actually,
There was enough time to be jolly.
Now who says it's too late for this? hmm? Audience of One? =)
